The design of the Liliputi Love® Babywearing Sweatshirt is built on nearly two decades of experience. It’s the result of close collaboration between clothing designers, parents, babywearing consultants, and textile industry experts.
And the result? A sweatshirt that feels like a warm, cozy hug – one that wraps around both a parent and a snuggly little baby.

Thoughtful design in every detail

We’ve considered every practical detail, that could make this piece as practical and comfy as it is lovable:
For starters, no babywearing insert is needed, the pattern is designed with enough space for your little one from the get-go. Partly because of this, and partly for comfort, we chose a cool oversized cut, but added a drawstring in the back so you can adjust the shape if you prefer a sleeker look.
It’s super easy to adapt the sweatshirt to whatever your current needs are. If your baby wants to be picked up – even in the back-carrying stage – no problem! You don’t need to fiddle with a babywearing insert. Just unzip the horizontal zipper across the back of the sweatshirt and that’s where your baby’s head can go through. (Just make sure the drawstring at the waist is loosened when back carrying, so you both have enough room and stay comfy inside the sweatshirt.)
Zipper can be tricky to reach with a growing bump or a front-carried baby, especially if they start low and sit right in the middle. That’s why we’ve placed ours slightly off-center and started it higher up, so it’s always easy to grab.
Babies grow fast – and soon enough, their legs will hang down past your hips in a carrier. That’s why we gave this sweatshirt a longer cut: to keep your baby’s legs warm and covered, and to protect your lower back and hips from the cold too.
With a baby, we know you’ve got enough to carry as it is, so of course, we added big zippered side pockets to keep your essentials close and safe.

There’s another special little feature, that you’re going to love, a real two-birds-one-stone solution. Inside, you’ll find elastic straps by the shoulders, this small detail unlocks two amazing tricks:

Turn your sweatshirt into a baby cover: If you’re getting warm but still want your baby to stay tucked in, just slide your arms out of the sleeves, the sweatshirt will stay in place over the baby thanks to the shoulder straps.
No more carrying it around in your hands: If you take it off completely, just let it rest on your shoulders, no need to stuff it in your already overloaded bag. Pretty clever, right?

We are obviously biased, but we love it a lot, and are proud of this product.
