Modal Material Overview

Modal is a conscious, environmentally friendly choice. It is soft, pleasant to the touch, modern, and offers more favorable sustainability properties than cotton, requiring significantly less water to produce. It is made from beechwood fibers. The raw material is first cut into small pieces, pulped, and then processed into cellulose fibers.
