The Liliputi Love Half Buckle Carrier was developed with the input of babywearing consultants and experienced mothers. Our goal was to create a structured, easy-to-use carrier that can be used from the newborn stage. It is both practical and comfortable for babies and parents, making every moment of babywearing a joyful experience.
Front Carrying
Once you have adjusted the carrier’s body size to fit your baby properly (typically possible from size 56-62 clothing, depending on body proportions), you can carry your baby on the front.
If your baby does not yet have stable head control, ensure that the carrier is tightly adjusted to provide proper head support—this can be achieved using the drawstring at the top of the back panel.
Tip: Spread the shoulder straps as wide as possible across your back to distribute the weight evenly and make babywearing more comfortable.
Hip Carrying
This method is ideal when your baby wants to see more of the world, but you’re not ready to switch to back carrying.
Bach Carrying
For heavier babies, back carrying will be more comfortable for you and better for the baby, as they can enjoy a wider view over your shoulder. Once your baby has developed head control and you feel that front carrying is too heavy, switching to back carrying is recommended.
Tip: For back carrying, we recommend using shoulder pads to help distribute the weight more evenly on your shoulders, making the carrier more comfortable and allowing for extended use.

What Makes the Liliputi Love Half Buckle Carrier So Great?
Why Do Experts Recommend Babywearing?
Close physical contact is a fundamental need for babies. A newborn feels more comfortable and secure when spending time cuddled up against their mother, hearing familiar sounds from the womb, like her heartbeat and breathing. Babywearing provides a gentle transition during the first few months after birth, the “fourth trimester,” helping babies adjust from the peacefulness of the womb to the outside world.
Benefits of Babywearing for Babies
Cry Less: Carried babies cry less and produce fewer stress hormones, making them more peaceful and content.
Healthy Development: They grow faster and healthier, with improved coordination, motor skills, muscle tone, and balance.
Less Colic: Babywearing helps reduce acid reflux and colic thanks to the upright position and continuous movement.
Faster Independence: Feeling constant closeness builds trust, allowing them to become more confident in exploring the world.
Better Sleep: They fall asleep faster and stay asleep longer.
Learn More: In the baby wrap, they observe the world around them calmly, fostering optimal nervous system development.
Extra Kisses Guaranteed: Carried babies receive plenty of kisses on the top of their heads—much more than those who are not carried.
Benefits of Babywearing for Mothers
Babywearing is just as beneficial for mothers as it is for babies. It helps mothers feel more confident, reduces the likelihood of postpartum depression, and minimizes feelings of isolation. The closeness of the baby supports milk production and makes soothing or putting them to sleep easier. Practical benefits like having both hands free or easily navigating stairs and narrow elevators make daily life significantly easier. are invaluable aids to everyday life.
